The short version, true by how EZFinder is built. The full privacy policy is with our lawyers, and will be here before EZFinder is available to the public.
The ledger

Your locations
Each position is encrypted on the phone that took it, with keys only the phones in your circle hold, before it is sent. Our servers store it, pass it on, and delete it: they cannot open it.
Alerts for arriving at and leaving places are worked out on the phones, so we never learn where Home or School is.
Encrypted history is kept for your circle's plan — 1, 14 or 30 days — and then deleted.
What we will never do
- Sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- Show ads, in the app or here.
- Put a tracker on this website: no analytics, no third-party fonts or scripts.
- Hide a safety feature behind a paywall.
Your data, your call
From your account page you can download a copy of everything we hold about you, or delete your account. Children's profiles are set up and looked after by their guardians.
